Aleksandar S. Nastić was born on April 8, 1978. in Belgrade, Serbia. He finished high school education in Leskovac. He graduated in 2003. at the University of Niš, at the Faculty of Sciences and Mathematics, at the Department for Mathematics majoring in Mathematics for Computing and Informatics. He completed his magisterium studies in 2008 by defending the thesis: Non-negative Integer-Valued Autoregressive Processes, within the scientific field of Mathematical Sciences. He received his doctorate at the University of Niš at the Faculty of Sciences and Mathematics in 2012 defending his doctoral dissertation entitled: Contribution to the Analysis of nonnegative Integer Valued Time Series Generated by Geometric Counting Series. From 2020 he is a full professor at the University of Niš, Faculty of Sciences and Mathematics, Department for mathematics, where he teaches a few bachelor, master and doctoral courses, all in area of Mathematical Statistics.
